Cost
The cost of each service this practice provides is directly related to the time it takes to perform the service. An initial evaluation with consultation can take 1-3 hours depending on the complexity of the case. Discussions with the teachers and other relevant people may be necessary and the time it takes to write a comprehensive report is also part of the service. The treatment visits after the initial evaluation are typically 20-50 minutes again depending on the complexity of the situation and whether psychotherapy and or other somatic treatments are needed and desired. Documentation time is an added 5-10 minutes per visit. Some people may find that the initial evaluation is all they need to put them on the right track because it includes some valuable education. Some need more close monitoring and adjusting of treatments. Dr. Gottfried believes that treatment decisions are a collaborative process and that the benefits and potential risks of treatment options should be reviewed and agreed upon together as she helps you make the right treatment plans that fits your situation and are consistent with your family’s values.
Please do call and tell us the complexity of your situation as well as your financial constraints and we can come to an agreement that is fair. Do not let finances get in the way of seeking help and health, but also consider the costs. Treatment is going to ask something of you beyond your financial investment. Dr. Gottfried believes that your health and your time are extremely valuable. The brain is not only the most complex organ in your body that controls the functions of all other organs but is the most complex thing that science knows of. The costs of continued mental health difficulty can be very high, and you will, we believe, find that this investment in your or your loved one’s health pays for itself many times over. Information sessions can be offered to anyone, anywhere in the world. They do not establish a doctor patient relationship and are for informational purposes only.
Fee: $330 per hour
Average fee for initial evaluation of Adults: ~1.5 hrs: $495
Adolescents: ~1.5 hrs: $495
Child: ~2 hrs: $660
Follow-up averages:
20 minutes: $165
40 minutes: $275
50 minutes: $330
Information sessions: $50 per household per hour.
Telephone calls are also billed at the same hourly rate.
Speaking Fee: $2000 per hour plus travel costs
